Jaynagar Mitrapara situated under Jaynagar Majilpur Municipality in South 24 Parganas district in the Indian state of West Bengal. It is a part of the area covered by Kolkata Metropolitan Development Authority.Both the places are also identified separately a Jaynagar (or Jaynagar) and Majilpur. It is connected to Kolkata by Sealdah South, Namkhana Section line.
